TIPS:

  • Do not leave your first aid kit in the car. The heat will affect the potency of the oils.  Try to treat it like a phone or wallet and leave by the door, take it with you, bring back inside.
  • Keep plenty of sterile pads in your kit, for applying the oils.
  • Consider also adding a carrier oil such as apricot kernel oil, avocado or coconut oil, so that you are not applying essential oils directly to the skin.
  • As with all first aid kits, please routinely check that you have everything that you need in it and replace if necessary.
  • Consider doing a first aid course to enhance your first aid skills.
