Kids & Teens
Are you finding your kids and teens are becoming less and less focused at school and at home? In our house homework was a nightmare with the younger ones unable to stay focused for longer than five minutes? The older teens presumably studying in their bedrooms were instead hooked into their devices and laptops on social media like addicts drip fed posts and likes. But this was all about to change, when we discovered doTERRA's InTune.
Research
A recent study has shown that staying focused, and on task, for teenagers is becoming more and more difficult. New research at Duke University in North Carolina, looked at associations between adolescents’ mental health symptoms and how much time they spent each day texting, using social media and the internet. On days when adolescents used digital devices more, they had difficulty paying attention and exhibited attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder symptoms.
Mums
As a full-time working mother (in social media) with her own teenagers, I too felt overwhelmed and scattered with my long to-do-list that was never completed (being peri-menopausal didn't help either). As a family, we’ve done our best at home to eat a healthy balanced diet and keep off as much sugar as possible (this definitely helps us all with our roller coasting moods) but we still found we were struggling with seeing our daily tasks through to the end. This is where InTune came into our lives, our secret weapon! A little roller ball of calm and clarity that secretly travels everywhere with us in our handbag and school bags. 007 would be envious.
Secret Weapon
doTERRA InTune is a blend of essential oils carefully selected for their ability to enhance focus and support healthy thought processes. This blend helps those who have difficulty paying attention to stay on task and sustain focus. No matter your age, staying focused on the task at hand is sometimes difficult. The carefully selected essential oils in dĹŤTERRA InTune blend work together, supporting your efforts to remain calm and focused on a desired task. Sandalwood, Frankincense, and Lime contribute to clarity and focus, while the benefits of Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, and Roman Chamomile are calming and soothing. The spicy woody aroma of InTune makes this blend a delight to wear and doubles up as gorgeous perfume.

I don’t know how many times friends or work colleagues have asked what the beautiful smell is that I’m wearing. The nifty roller ball makes it easy to apply to the neck, temples and wrists before, and during, work and school. The zen has returned to family life and I thank InTune every day for helping me stay present and on task. The kids are more settled and focused and homework doesn’t seem half as much the battle that it used to be. Let’s see what my son’s Year 11 mid term exam results come back as! Stay TUNED!
